Dreams and armless colleagues

I had a terrible bloody dream last night. I can’t remember exactly what it was about, but I do know that at some stage I was drowning, after which I could miraculously breathe under water.

I also dreamt that I was in a car accident with a colleague, (we used to share a carpool to work) a friend I haven’t seen in a very long time and her brother (who I have a soft spot for, because he’s got a mild form of mental retardation and loves hanging out with “the girls”.)

I dreamt that we were driving along, (my friend was driving) and ended up going off the road, flying through the air and crashing down into a very steep hill. The car caught alight. In my dream I woke up in hospital about a month later, nothing wrong with me. But I later find out that my friend and her brother died in the crash, and that my collegue lost both his hands and a leg.

I woke up extremely upset and crying, which is why I tried to find info on the meaning of dreams. I found this interesting article, which doesn’t really give me clarity on this specific dream, but is great for the next time I have a steamy dream… (which is hopefully soon!)
